The rooms and cottages are clean and comfortable. The food is excellent. If anything, the food portions are too large! Nan and Dave are caring and it shows everywhere you look. Their website does no justice to the property and grounds. The best part is they welcome well-behaved pets. Our Doberman goes where we go! Over the hills and through the woods, you wouldn't find a happier dog. If you like to travel with your dog, you'll be a regular visitor.

The Hospitality Cottage is the original usage and name of the outbuilding. When passing by travelers would ask for a place to lay their heads during the long journeys, owners of the plantations created these small buildings to house the travelers. This provided security for safe keeping of livestock in the barn and family members in the main house. When travelers would see a sign of the pineapple on the road, it indicated that the plantation had lodging quarters for the public to use. This is a self contained unit with a small fridge, microwave, TV, Satellite HBO, iron/board, coffee pot, A/C, heat and private phone. Hair dryer is provided in the bathroom.
